Who is ECDAN?

The Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN) was set up in 2016 by UNICEF, the World Bank, and more than 80 other partners. ECDAN is a global platform to drive collective action so that ALL young children are safe, well nourished, healthy, happy, and learning. 

ECDAN recently refreshed its strategy for 2024-2028 with three strategic objectives, described below. 

Build a Movement

Catalyze collective action with diverse partners for shared ECD goals.

Exchange Knowledge and Learning

Connect partners to generate and use knowledge and evidence to improve policies and practice.

Advocate for Action

Build political will and public demand for better policies, more resources, quality implementation, and greater accountability for results.
